The Applied Research and Communications Fund is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1991 in Sofia. Its mission is:
• To support international and inter-regional cooperation and enhance the capacity of NGOs and public-private agencies; • To contribute to the development of knowledge-based society in South-East Europe; • To support competitiveness and economic growth in South-East Europe by promoting innovative solutions and facilitating the transfer of new technologies and know-how. ARC Fund designs and implements strategies for capacity building of NGOs, information society development and technological innovation.
Role in the project
ARC Fund is leading two tasks in WP1: Designing the Living Labs, as follows – Task 1.1. Update the state-of-the-art insights and research on creating an inclusive labour market and Task 1.2 Understanding the local/regional context of each Living Lab with regard to the labour market inclusion of the vulnerable group(s). ARC Fund is also actively participating in the establishment and evaluation of the Living Lab in Sofia, Bulgaria.
