SYNCLUSIVE Symposium at EAOHP 2026: Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Inclusive Labour Markets

The SYNCLUSIVE project participated in the EAOHP 2026 conference with a dedicated symposium exploring how regional coalitions can contribute to building more inclusive labour markets. The session brought together insights from SYNCLUSIVE Living Labs in the Netherlands, Finland, Bulgaria, and Portugal, highlighting how collaboration between employers, municipalities, public employment services, education providers, and social partners can create better opportunities for vulnerable workers and jobseekers.

During the symposium, partners presented experiences from different local contexts and discussed the importance of trust, shared responsibility, clear roles, and strong regional cooperation in creating sustainable labour-market solutions.

Examples from the Dutch and Finnish Living Labs demonstrated how leadership interventions can be adapted to diverse environments — from childcare organisations in the Netherlands to municipal services in Finland — while maintaining a common approach and shared objectives.

The discussions highlighted one of the core strengths of SYNCLUSIVE: combining a joint framework with locally tailored solutions that respond to the specific needs of communities and stakeholders.

Thank you to all speakers and participants for contributing to an inspiring exchange on the future of inclusive labour markets.
