University College Cork held its second workshop with stakeholders on the 9th of May. The aim of this series of workshops being held by the project’s reflecting partners (UCC, CENTAR and INAIL) is to bring stakeholders together to reflect on the results of Living Labs together with the reflecting partners and to provide feedback on the feasibility of the implementation of the Living Labs in additional national contexts.
In 2024, the workshops focused on the design of the four Living Labs. This year’s event in UCC built on this work by reflecting on how the ongoing work of the project’s living labs could be implemented in Ireland, with a particular focus on coalition building.
The event included a presentation by Dr Vince Pelzer from the University of Tilburg on the progress of living labs in the Netherlands and the workshop was attended by members of local, regional and national organisations who shared their insights on helping vulnerable groups enter and progress in labour markets.
CENTAR and INAIL will be holding their second workshops of the same format, in the coming weeks and the project partners will reflect on the overall findings, particularly how they influence the work of the current Living Labs and the implementation of future Living Labs in additional regions. This work is fundamental to the upscaling of the project’s research findings across the EU, to guide policy recommendations.
