We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the training intervention “Personal Skills and Competencies” within the framework of Synclusive project. During the month of March nearly 40 uneployed and employees looking for upward mobility took part in the third intervention of the Living Lab, designed to boost their personal soft skills and competences. On March 28, 2025, 31 participants succesfully completed the training sequence and were awarded their certificates of completion.
The 30-hour training intervention, specially designed with the Sofia informal coalition and part of the “Career Opportunities for People 50+” initiative, provided participants with valuable knowledge and skills to improve their personal and professional qualifications and advance their career prospects.
Program of the intervention modules included important topics such as soft communication skills, motivation, leadership skills, financial literacy, green skills, challenges faced by people 50+ and women in today’s job market. The main trainer Yulia Simeonova was joined by other representatives of Sofia informal coalition for in-depth specific training topics. Veliana Zlateva with Cleantech Bulgaria, led the participants through discussions, presentations and hands-on games to understand the green skills needed in every job field nowadays. Maya Tsaneva from Young Talents 50+ presented current job opportunities and acquainted the participants with the job market trends, and methods to stay informed and included. Plamen Vassilev, HR Director at Holcim Bulgaria, shared valuable tips for job interviews and trainees practiced responding to tough questions, setting up career goals and communication their experience and expectations.
The participants in the training course provided positive feedback, emphasizing the high quality of the content, the professionalism of the trainers, the practical application and the excellent organization.
Thus the number of people 50+ who benefited from Sofia Living Lab interventions, reached 75.
The next and final intervention in the framework of Synclusive is planned for September 2025.
