SECOND ROUND OF SYNCLUSIVE REFLECTION MEETINGS CONCLUDES WITH STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP IN ROME

On 26 June 2025, the National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work (INAIL), in its role of reflecting partner in the SYNCLUSIVE Project consortium, hosted the second reflection workshop in its headquarters in Rome. The event aimed to foster in-depth discussion on coalition models for socio-labour inclusion, drawing inspiration from the experiences of Living Labs in Bulgaria, Finland, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

At the core of the debate was a detailed analysis of the coalition model implemented in the Netherlands. The workshop had a dual purpose: first, to clearly identify potential barriers that might hinder the adoption of a similar model in Italy; and second, to pinpoint the enabling factors and driving forces that could support and accelerate the implementation of such a structured collaborative approach.

Key national stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Labour, the two main national trade unions, research institutions, and several large enterprises, attended the meeting and contributed to a dynamic and comprehensive discussion enriched by direct experiences and fundamental insights into the dynamics of the Italian labour market and inclusion policies.

To facilitate broader expert participation, two working groups were established. These groups were formed considering the diverse organizational backgrounds, various professional specializations, competencies, and viewpoints of their members, aiming to ensure the most diversified perspective possible. Participants were then posed stimulating questions, and a designated rapporteur presented their conclusions during the final plenary session.
